Volunteer Placements/Services: Dentist; Nurse Practitioner; Pharmacist; Physician / Specialist; Psychiatrist; Registered Dietician; Communications Intern; Grant Writing and Research Intern; Quality Improvement Intern; Health Education Intern - Bilingual Spanish Only; Nonprofit Management Intern (Volunteer Services); Individual and Corporate Philanthropy Intern; Art and Special Events Internships
Application Process: Application Process for General Volunteers: 1. Online Application 2. HIPAA Certificate 3. Immunization History: Medical documentation of TWO MMR vaccinations OR Medical documentation of ONE BLOOD TITER indicating immunity to MMR; Medical documentation of a negative TB skin test completed within the last 12 months OR a negative TB chest x-ray completed within the 3 years. Application Process for Medical Providers: 1. Please complete a Volunteer Medical Provider Application and email your CV to Cassie Roque, VFC Volunteer Program Manager 2. Wait to be contacted you regarding your application. If your availability and qualifications are a good match for the Clinic’s needs, we will set up a meeting for you and our Associate Medical Director. 3. Once approved by our Associate Medical Director, Submit your required documents to VFC, Complete credentialing with UCLA - may take up to two months to process 4. Get scheduled and start volunteering!
