Volunteers work in a variety of areas in the hospital. They meet others with similar interests and know they serve an important purpose in our community. Volunteer Placements/Services: Hospitality - Welcome Desks; Gift Shop - Merchandising and Sales; Patient Services/Nursing Units; Physical/Occupational Therapy; ICU & Surgery Waiting Rooms; Emergency Department; Clerical; Breast and Diagnostic Center; Project Assignments
Application Process: Requirements: 16 years of age or older; Must commit to 100 hours of service; Complete the application process, including an interview and background check; Review and sign the eligibility and requirements form; Review and sign the Authorization for Background Investigation form; Complete the Volunteer Personal Statement; Complete the Parental Consent form (16 to 18-year-olds); Attend orientation; Complete the two-step PPD, TDap vaccination, and Flu vaccination during the months of September through April.
