Volunteer Information: Hoag Hospital Adult Auxiliary is looking for friendly, cheerful and caring volunteers to assist patients and visitors at their Newport Beach, Irvine and Huntington Beach campuses. As a community service, interview and skills assessments, orientation training, health screening, and background check are required. Volunteering at a hospital is a wonderful way to give back to your community by participating in a meaningful, rewarding cause. Application Process: An application may be obtained from the Auxiliary Office, by calling 949-764-8264 or by downloading the application online and printing it. The completed application is to be sent to the Auxiliary Office, c/o Vice President, Membership. Upon their receipt, as positions are available, the applicant is invited for an interview. New member orientation is scheduled each month. Before starting at the hospital, you will be asked to provide identification information, pass the interview and hospital mandatories, orientation, and have a health screening/TB test. There is a provisional period and one must pass the probationary evaluation before becoming an official member of the Auxiliary.
