Volunteer Information:
Volunteering at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center is rewarding and interesting.Volunteers wear a uniform and ID badge so that their official status is immediately recognized by Chesapeake Regional Medical Center staff and patients. In addition to a general orientation, volunteers receive training in their chosen area. Additional special training may be provided in certain areas of the hospital, such as our Mother/ Baby Unit or Therapeutic Visitation.Through volunteering at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, individuals have the opportunity to enhance the care of our patients, provide help to our clinical and non-clinical departments, supplement the care given by nurses and doctors, and help visitors and patient’s families.
