Volunteer Information: Ranging in age from 16 to over 90, volunteers work in many jobs and in many departments of the hospital. Volunteers staff the Main Lobby Information Desk, the Outpatient Surgery Reception Desk, the Corner Shop, as well as deliver mail and flowers to patients, do clerical work, and many other jobs. Teen Volunteers work after school at the direction of the nursing staff assisting patients with their needs, pushing wheelchairs, and performing clerical duties. New volunteers are welcome at any time. Volunteer orientation sessions are required before starting work and are held several times during the year..
