Southern Regional voluteers play a very important role in creating a warm, compassionate environment for patients. Volunteers serve in many areas throughout the hospital including patient care, diagnostics, guest services and more. Application Process: 1. Fill out Application Form. 2. Submit Application Form along with two Reference Forms from non-family members. 3. When we receive the form and references, you will be contacted for a personal interview. In addition, as part of the application and orientation process, you will be required to provide or obtain the following: A 2-step TB/PPD skin test is required; this can be done at the hospital free of charge. A background check and drug screen is required; this can be done at the hospital free of charge. Aninfluenza vaccination is required during flu season; this can be done at the hospital free of charge. Uniform tops will be provided by Southern Regional Medical Center. If you become a member of the SRMC Auxiliary, you must contribute a nominal membership fee of $10 per year.
