Volunteer Information: Local residents can choose from a diversity of volunteer opportunities such as reading to patients, providing comfort and companionship, greeting and escorting visitors to their destination, tidying up rooms, running errands or providing clerical and office support.Following orientation and training, volunteers initially serve a minimum of four hours per week for the first three months and are able to choose from a variety of day, evening and early morning shifts. Youth aged 14 to 18 can enroll in the Student Volunteer Program especially tailored to help teens discover and develop their talents, expand experiences and meet community service requirements..
