Volunteer Information: Ridgeview Medical Center is a nonprofit, independent hospital that relies on the kindness of volunteers to successfully offer the best medical care in the state of Minnesota. The time and effort contributed by volunteers is invaluable and appreciated by Ridgeview's staff, patients and visitors. Volunteers at Ridgeview are people of various ages and in different stages of their lives. The minimum age is 14 years old. All of our volunteers share one common value: service to others. Some individuals serve as part of their retirement activities, while others want to pursue a specific career or enhance their current employment. Ridgeview has a broad range of opportunities to accommodate different life stages, interests and schedules. Volunteers participate in many different opportunities throughout Ridgeview and the hospice program. They are an indispensable part of Ridgeview’s team. The Ridgeview Volunteer Services staff works with departments throughout the organization to create and develop meaningful volunteer opportunities through a variety of positions to fit each individual’s personal interests, skills and availability.
