Volunteer Information: Volunteering at Saline Memorial Hospital has been a long standing tradition. Our volunteers, students to seniors, work side by side with hospital staff and are involved in almost every department at SMH. As the premier health care facility in Saline County, the hospital volunteer program provides an excellent outlet for community service.SMH offers volunteer opportunities through regularly scheduled weekly assignments, an annual 6-week summer Junior Volunteer Program (ages 14-18), and Community Service (all adults) for volunteers who wish to assist with special projects or donate pro-bono professional services..
