Volunteer Programs: Youth Volunteer Program; Adult Volunteer Program
Volunteer Placements/Services: Contribute to non-nursing aspect of patient care in the hospital; Provide escort with Regina's health care campus; Greet the public and give directions at main entrance; Help with clerical tasks
Application Process: 1. Complete volunteer application. 2. We will get together to get acquainted either before or after you have completed the enrollment paperwork. Regina is required to perform a background check, so be prepared to provide your MN Driver’s license number (if you have one) and Social Security number. 3. Prospective volunteers contact Regina's Infection Control Practitioner to verify immunity to measles, mumps, rubella, chicken pox, and tuberculosis. If your immunization record is unavailable, our Infection Control Practitioner may arrange for a free test at Regina’s laboratory to verify your immunity (parent or guardian's permission signature required for youth). 4. We’ll schedule a time for you to attend a general orientation session to learn what you need to know about Regina before you get started. Training in your area of service will also be provided.
