Volunteer Placements/Services: Central Registration; Community & Hospital Fundraising; Departmental Piano Services; Emergency Services; Errand Services; Hobe’s Grill; ICU Waiting Area; Information Desks; Leonard Lawson Cancer Center; Nursing Units; Outpatient Surgery; Spiritual Care; Volunteer Services Department
Application Process: To become a volunteer, fill out one of the online applications; or call Dana Bishop, Director of Volunteer Services, at 606-218-3521. Adult and teen volunteers are required to: Adhere to strict confidentiality (HIPAA); Attend the volunteer orientation; Clock in and out daily; Commit to a weekly schedule; Complete a criminal background check; Provide proof of current immunizations; Submit to a TB (tuberculosis) test and general health assessment; Train for specific assignments; Wear assigned uniform and ID badge; Drug screening
