Volunteer Information: Whether you’re in high school or college, still in a career or recently retired, Mercy has a volunteer opportunity that’s perfect for you. Our volunteers are a key part of The Mercy Touch that makes Mercy a special, caring place. We match your skills, talents and interests with roles that provide the chance to help others and enrich your own life, too. We are very flexible and can accommodate busy schedules. Opportunities exist throughout all our Mercy-affiliated programs and across the entire hospital. Volunteer jobs vary from light clerical tasks to data processing, delivering flowers to helping at the Mercy Auxiliary’s Uncommon Grounds coffee corner, serving as greeters and so many more unique and fulfilling roles. No matter your reason for taking an interest in our volunteer opportunities, we’ll listen to your ultimate goals and find the best outlet to help you reach them. You’ll meet fantastic people, spark new friendships and enjoy all the perks of being our valued volunteer.. All volunteers must have proof of or complete a two-part TB inoculation, have proof of two MMR (measles, mumps & rubella) vaccinations or mumps titer and complete a background check.
