Volunteer Placements/Services: Admitting Escort; Clerical; Clerical Courier; Courtesy Coach Driver; Cosmetologist; Emergency Department; Endoscopy/Outpatient Services; Eucharist Minister; Flower and Patient Mail Delivery; Gift Shops; Greeter; Guest Housing; Imaging; Lobbyside Café; Mercy Health Community and Fundraising Events; Musician; Patient and Family Advisory Council Volunteers; Patient and Family Resource Center; Patient Transport; Personal Care Support; Pet Therapy; Reach Out and Read; Spiritual Care; Surgery Waiting Room
Application Process: The completed application forms and two references then need to be turned into Volunteer Services. Once these are received, we will contact you about an interview and coordinate the following steps: Attend Volunteer Orientation; Workplace Health Appointment at our expense; Vaccination history record; (2) TB Tests at our expense; Flu shot at our expense; Obtain a uniform and name badge (no charge) from the Volunteer and Security offices; Train with an experienced volunteer in the area assigned; Obtain (2) TB tests and a Titer (covered by MHP) before your first volunteer assignment.
