Volunteer Information: Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center Auxiliary was organized in April, 1993. Auxiliary members volunteer thousands of hours each year to contribute services to the hospital and the community. Over the years, through various fund-raising efforts, the Auxiliary has purchased items for the hospital and has funded scholarships to area students who are pursuing their education in the medical field. Auxiliary members serve throughout the hospital in many different areas such as greeting patients and visitors as they come to the hospital and operating the Auxiliary Gift Shop. The Auxiliary members, men and women, are of all ages. Some are retired from successful professional careers but continue to have productive lives in volunteer service to others. Some are employed full or part time but desire to serve the community by volunteering at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center. Others are sampling experiences in the hospital environment to determine a career. .
