Volunteer Information: Carolinas Hospital System is fortunate to be supported by over 120 volunteers who are 18 years of age and older. Typically, volunteers serve one half-day shift per week in an assignment area to match their need and schedule. Volunteers’ gift of time and talent enhance the services of their assignment area to hospital patients and their loved ones.The Department of Volunteer Services is composed of the following programs:Adult Volunteers,Volunteer Chaplains and Teen Volunteers.
