Volunteer Placements/Services: Rehabilitation, Gift Shop, Surgical Services, Emergency Center, Escort, Hospice, Patient Unit
Application Process: Adult (18 years and older): Regular weekly 3-4 hour shift; Minimum 100 hours of service; Criminal Background Check; 2-3 references - non family members; Successful completion of interview; Health screening - TB testing and confirmation of up-to-date immunizations in patient areas; Annual flu vaccination; Completion of annual Mandatory Education as determined by Beaumont Health System; Orientation and on-the-job training are provided. Student (15 years and older): Completion of above requirements with exemption of a criminal background check under 18 years of age; 100 hours of service required before a letter of recommendation will be completed and will originate from area served
