Volunteers provide a valuable link between the hospital and the community, by playing a positive role in the lives of patients, family members, visitors and hospital staff.Volunteers are needed every day, with some availability for evenings. We ask that you work a four-hour shift that can be flexible depending on your schedule and the needs of the department chosen.

Volunteer Details: Volunteers at Piedmont are men and women, ranging in age from teens to senior citizens. They are students, homemakers, retirees as well as professionals with full- and part-time jobs interested in giving back to the community through volunteerism. Volunteers work in various departments in the hospital and have different kinds of responsibilities, such as escorting patients, or working in the various admitting departments helping families. They also deliver flowers to patient rooms and help at our front desk.
