Volunteer Placements/Services: Admissions; Arts in Healthcare; Cardio Vascular Information Desk; Clerical Support; Crafts; Customer Service Information Surgery Desk & Escort; Customer Service Lobby Information Desks; Emergency Department; Food & Nutrition Service; GCMC Uniform Store; Heart Central; Hearts & Hands Gift Store; Intensive Care Waiting Room; Medical Floor Service; Medical Library; Pet Therapy; Pre-Op/PACU; Rehabilitation Outpatient Services; Renal Transplant; Supply Chain; Surgical Waiting Room Information Desk; Transporter; Trolley Driver
Application Process: In order to qualify for the program, volunteers must complete the following process: commit to six consecutive months from the date of orientation; complete the attached Volunteer Application; schedule an interview to discuss interest and availability; attend an orientation session; complete a two-step Tuberculosis (TB) test in one of our Employee Health offices; complete the Mandatory Hospital Annual Safety Education Module; have picture taken for ID badge
