They are helpful and courteous, but they also provide a remarkable service to the hospital and community. Because of the fundraising efforts of the Auxiliary, we are able to purchase items that fall outside the hospital budget. One of the sources of their funds is the Gift Shoppe, located off the emergency department entrance. With loads of goodies to shop, their wares provide nice gifts (and necessities) to hospital patients but are a great resource for anyone’s gift-giving quest! The Auxiliary also hosts a sheet sale with remarkable, quality Egyptian cotton sheets at affordable prices. Their regular jewelry sales also attract a lot of attention. Just as important, being a part of the all-volunteer auxiliary is a fulfilling way to give back to the community. Become a volunteer!.
