Volunteer Information: Volunteers work in most areas of Baptist Health La Grange including information desks, transport, Pastoral Care, Customer Relations, the Medical/Surgical Unit, the Transitional Care Unit and various waiting areas. Volunteers staff the patient information desks and help patients and families find their way. They deliver flowers and newspapers, escort patients and families, help fill water pitchers, assist with meal tray selections and prepare patient information packets. By performing these small but very important services, our volunteers add a personal touch to the hospital and help make it a warm, friendly place. Volunteers make a real difference by providing all the little extras our patients have come to appreciate. In addition, about 20 VolunTeens work at the hospital during the summer..
